Description
This museum-quality metal sculpture depicts a 1936 Dreyer Sprintcar in stunning detail. Crafted by artist D. McSherry in 1992. Number 2 of 10. The 1:18 ratio is an estimate - it is about 9 inches long. It is heavy being steel, the finish on the steel is another amazing thing - it sort of looks like it wants to start rusting, but is frozen in time with some kind of clear coat. Very unique for metal. I hope this piece receive appreciation for it's true proof of hand-built quality. The attention to detail in the production technique is remarkable, showcasing the metalwork expertise of the artist. It is a sculpture, really. Please ask Any questions
